Empowering Kentucky’s Next Generation of Investors

About Us

Bluegrass Young Investors is a hands-on high school investment curriculum where students manage real money while learning the fundamentals of finance, markets, and long-term investing. Through guided lessons and active portfolio management, students gain practical experience analyzing stocks, making informed decisions, and tracking performance. At the end of each year, a portion of the investment proceeds is returned to the school to fund student scholarships—creating a program that not only teaches financial literacy but also directly invests in the future of its participants.

Each year students participate in an Investment Challenge, where classes and schools compete in a live pitch competition. Students present their best investment ideas to a panel of judges, with top teams earning cash prizes and bragging rights for their school.

Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.
